36th Annual

4TH OF JULY

KIDS’ PARADE

 

The 36th annual 4th of July Kids’ Parade will start at 9a.m. The route will begin at Clarkdale-Jerome School and continue down Main Street through the business district.

Prizes will be issued for: Chamber’s Choice, Best Decorated Pet, Best Decorated Bicycle, Best Decorated Wagon, Most Original, Most Patriotic Group, and Red, White, and Bluest.
Those interested in participating must register at 8:15 a.m. at the Clarkdale-Jerome School. Parade participants are

limited to youth age sixteen (16) years and under. No commercial entries or vehicles are permitted. Please review all

parade rules to ensure that you will be able to participate in the parade.  There is no fee to enter the parade.

OLD FASHIONED FOURTH OF JULY


Don’t miss Clarkdale’s 35TH Annual Old Fashioned Fourth of July festivities in the Clarkdale Town Park located at 1001 Main Street on Monday, July 4, 2011. A variety of activities geared to please all ages are scheduled throughout the morning hours!

 

 

 

Clarkdale is proud to have a strong community, as without your support, the Town would not be able to offer this grand event.  Thank you to those who responded to our call for volunteers.  A special thank you to the staff of Clarkdale-Jerome School, Clarkdale Chamber of Commerce, Vineyard Christian  Fellowship, Clarkdale Fire District, and Verde Valley Ambulance.

10’x10’ vendor spaces are available to reserve for a minimal fee.  Contact Community Services at 639-2460 to reserve your space.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4TH OF JULY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

 

7 a.m.         FESTIVITIES BEGIN

                      Raising of the Colors presented by VFW Post 7400

 

  7 a.m.         PANCAKE BREAKFAST

                      Hosted by the Clarkdale Police Dept. and Fire Dist.

 

  9 a.m.         4th of July Kids’ Parade

                      Hosted by the  Clarkdale Chamber of Commerce

        (See below for more information.)

 

  9 a.m. - 11 a.m.   Events & Activities:

Children’s Games hosted and sponsored by Clarkdale-Jerome School, Fire Engine Rides, Clark Memorial Library Ice Cream Social, and Music performed by the Cottonwood Community Band.

 

  11 a.m.      END OF FESTIVITIES IN THE PARK

 

  12 - 4 p.m.  CLARKDALE POOL OPEN

Cool off with a  swim after celebrating Clarkdale’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July.  The Clarkdale Copperheads swim team invite all Clarkdale  swimmers to swim a race at the mini-swim meet from 12:00-12:30pm!
