Employment Opportunities
Clarkdale is a historic community (population 4,000) located on the banks of the Verde River in the upper end of Arizona's Verde Valley. Clarkdale is located at the geographic center of Arizona, 100 miles north of Phoenix and 20 miles south of Sedona. PATROL OFFICER – The Clarkdale Police Department is accepting applications for the creation of a Patrol Officer Hiring List. Applications received by June 30, 2011 will be considered for the current open position. The eligibility of Hiring List applicants will be maintained for a period of one (1) year beginning June 1, 2011 and ending May 31, 2012.
Starting Salary $33,556 - $43,622 per year, DOQ. Clarkdale Patrol Officers, under general supervision, perform a variety of sworn level law enforcement activities. Work schedules are typically 4x10 hours per week, however all schedules are subject to change depending on the needs of the organization.
